About Us

Graham’s Foster Home for the Elderly, Inc., was founded by Loman and Freda Graham in 1975 to care for their parents.  Others saw what they were doing and needed someone to care for themselves or their loved ones and the business was born.  Graham’s Foster Home for the Elderly became licensed by the State of Arkansas as a Residential Care Facility in 1983 when the state began regulating this type of care.  The current operators, Kent and Helen Schroeder, are the son-in-law and daughter of the Grahams.  They have been involved with running this home since 1987.  They are both certified administrators and also have certifications in providing personal care services.

Graham’s Foster Home for the Elderly, Inc., is located just outside of Cabot city limits on Honeysuckle Lane (we really have honeysuckles).  We have a spacious yard (about six acres) with many trees.  It is away from the busy thoroughfares; we hear birds instead of traffic.

Not like a large facility, Graham’s is as home-like as it can be.  It is a brick home with lots of windows that was originally constructed to be a single-family dwelling.  The rooms have plenty of space, also.  It is the kind of place almost anyone would be proud to call home. The bedrooms are large with big windows and walk-in closets.  We have both private and semi-private rooms.  Even though everything a person needs is provided, to make it more comfortable and home-like, we can usually allow people to use their own belongings as space permits.
